How It Started
Lauren and Adam's story began back in 2009 on AFL Grand Final night at The Elephant Pub. A close friend of Lauren's had met Adam and his friends the weekend before and was convinced the two would hit it off. She was right. One night out in town turned into a love story that would span more than a decade before leading them to their wedding day.
The Proposal
During a Saturday morning walk through their suburb of Flagstaff Hill, Adam surprised Lauren with a proposal she never saw coming. The pair stopped by a small pond, known for its resident ducks during spring. While Lauren was distracted admiring the ducks, Adam seized the moment. When she turned around, he was down on one knee holding a custom-made oval diamond ring - her dream ring.
Their Special Day
Lauren and Adam envisioned a wedding that felt classic, elegant, and relaxed. A timeless palette of white and cornflower blue complemented the stunning backdrop of vineyards, rolling southern hills, and coastal views at Beach Road Wines.
The groom looked effortlessly sophisticated in a white dinner jacket paired with black trousers and a black bow tie, while the styling remained understated and romantic throughout the day.
One of the most memorable moments came as Lauren walked down the aisle. Her close friend Elle performed an acoustic rendition of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love, creating an emotional and unforgettable atmosphere.

The Wedding Dress
Lauren chose the stunning Jack Sullivan Clarissa gown, a dress that completely surprised her in the best possible way.
What initially captured her heart was the dramatic full skirt and train, which made her feel like a princess. She also fell in love with the timeless off-the-shoulder design, a style she had never imagined herself wearing but instantly adored once she tried it on.
Paired with a shimmering tulle veil from Adelaide Bridal Collective, Christian Louboutin pumps, and treasured family heirlooms including vintage pearl earrings from her great-aunty and a sapphire and diamond ring from her grandmother, Lauren's bridal look was both elegant and deeply meaningful.

"The full skirt and train made me feel like a princess. I loved the way it swished when I moved. The off-the-shoulder look was so classic — everything I never knew I loved!" — Lauren
